10 Magnificent Killers

Review by Andrew Allwander

STORY: An old man who fed and clothed a kid for 12 years teaches him kung fu so he can be his own personal killer. He makes him sign a contract so he will own anything he owns in order to teach the young guy. The old man is wanted by a person who hires 10 killers to bring his head to him. 1 by 1 the killers come to his house to fight him. After awhile the young guy who was taught kung fu finds out about his past.

This movie is totally sweet. If you see this get it. There is fighting ALL THE TIME! 10 killers! That is 10 fights right there. And the fighting is cool too! They use a lot of kicks as well as a lot of punches. It rules! Each fighter is a different character. There is a beggar, a coffin weirdo guy, a monk, a swordsman and many others. This movie has a comedic feel to it that can make you laugh sometimes. Nothing too extremely funny. But it takes a dark turn at the end which I didn't like too much, but still didn't care a lot. There is a funny relationship between the young guy and the old man, but at the end the young guy finds out about his past and what the old man is up to so things get mean from there. But that is at the very end. There is also a stupid funny part where one of the killers has a girl go to the house before them and the young guy gets occupied by her and wants to get laid. The old man is all jealous. So the young guy takes the girl in the hut to get it on while a swordsman comes to kill the old man. The old man is not a good fighter alone, but teamed up with the young guy they seem to be unstoppable. So the young guy is getting it on while the old man is getting the crap beat out of him. Finally the young guy comes out after he's done and says it was his first time and he is sorry and then the ass kicking starts and the swordman dies. There is only innuendo and it doesn't show anything and it is really dumb so if you do not like sexual content in movies you don't have to worry because it isn't a big deal at all and nothing is shown. This movie is awesome and has a lot of fighting and not really a story so that's okay. The story is really hard to follow because the story isn't that big and there is so much fighting and you pay attention to that more. This movie rocks! I give it a 10 out of 10!
