Go Buy A New Yorker this Week

There's an article on Bunkerd Faphimai, formerly of Fairtex, who now runs his own gym in San Francisco, Fight and Fitness. Great stuff if you're interested in Muay Thai. Apparently Bunkerd briefly came out of retirement last year and fought at the Hammerstein Ballroom! How did we miss that?

Also, if you weren't forced by your wife or girlfriend to watch the premiere of the TV show "Emily's Reasons Why Not" starring Heather Graham, you missed a hilarious segment where several people boldly proclaim: "Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu? That's like the gayest sport ever!" The plot is, Heather Graham's boyfriend won't have sex with her and she thinks he's gay... one of the strikes against him is that he does BJJ - she visits the dojo with her friends and watches in horror as he rolls around on the ground with a bunch of sweaty guys... turns out he's just Mormon and is saving himself for marriage.

Video Clip Showing Kim Jong-Il's Incredible Bodyguards

Thanks to andongkim.com, you can see a video clip of what Kim Jong-Il's bodyguards go through. It's really incredible, highly worth a download, even at 7.5 mb. Picture the most extreme brick smashing demonstration you've ever seen, then add guns.

p.s. happy new year.
