A message from Sensei Mike Mullero of Kaizen Karate-do on the Upper East Side...

Dear friends,

I'm writing to you to ask you for your assistance in helping a group of under privilege kids who seek to build their future through learning all the essential skills they would acquire with the martial arts.

Skills such as learning respect, honesty and living by a code of ethics that will help motivate them to have the type of mentality of "Winners never quitting" and the importance of goal settings. It is for this very reason I come to you today in request of possibly sponsoring 1 out 12 children that don't have the financial ability to enroll in a1 year commit program here at Kaizen Karate Do.

Please note, while sponsoring an under privilege child today, you not only help them learn Martial Arts but you help today's youth be better prepare to become tomorrows leaders. Now, some may ask why a Martial Art school? Or, some say why Martial Arts period? It's because of great testimonials like these it is well worth the investment.

"Thanks to Martial Arts my child is happier, courteous and more focused."

-Mrs. M. Rodriguez
Parent NYC

"My son started his martial arts training when he was 5. He's 12 now. The best part of the training is the confidence he has in himself. He doesn't have to brag -- he knows he can "reduce the threat" in a situation without too much effort. That being said: I've never had a report of him being in a fight at school. When I see him with his friends and classmates, kidding and jibes seem to fall about him, and he just takes it in stride. I'm pretty sure kids have just gotten tired of making fun of him over the years.

"Out in the wild, I have no doubt that one of the first lessons his Sensei taught him will come in handy: When faced with a threat that you have any doubt in your mind of overcoming, use the ancient art of running away really fast."

-Mr. Thomas Hayes

Ultimately, Martial Arts builds character, gives confidence, helps people help themselves, and saves lives.

I'm a prime example of why karate saved my life. You see I was once an under privilege child who grew up in an uncomfortable environment. Though, I was faced with the harsh reality of my life the one thing I could remember that kept me focused was my Martial Arts class. I distinctly remember my Sensei, Sensei Paul Alveraz having so much patience with me. He always exhibited kindness, respect, and humility. He taught me to persevere and keep my eyes geared toward the future because, in his words, “it will be a better place" He was indeed a great mentor and a great friend. I will forever carry with me all that he taught in my heart and in my life.

You see, not only will sponsoring a child today help them in the future but it will and can benefit you during tax season. The total cost of 1 child for the year is $1499.00 should you decide to act and give a gift of enrollment, we would offer you a 20% discount of the yearly price.
Should you have any further question, please feel free to contact myself or the enrollment direct Jazmin Hernandez at number below, Thank you for you time and your consideration. Merry Christmas and have a save a wonderful New Year.

Respectfully Yours,
Sensei Mike Mullero
